SAUNDERS FAMILY CEMETERY Parcel #36-12-26-0000-0030-0001. Deed Book J Page 177, June 30, 1878, and is listed on the Putnam County Tax Rolls as belonging to ‘SAUNDERS, J. G. Heirs Of, C/O William F. Saunders, 115 Jones Road, Crescent City, FL 32112. From 309 at Fruitland, turn onto 308. Go 3/4 of a mile to Beulah Church Road. Turn right on Jones Road, a private dirt road. Go all the way to the end of the road until your way is barred by a locked gate, a distance of approximately 1 1/4 miles. Walk around the gate and the cemetery is about another half mile down the road. The cemetery is located along the side of a fernery. The cemetery is enclosed in a chain link fence that was probably erected in late 2007 or early 2008, as the latest interment was that of Mrs. Sandra Saunders in 2007. A large family monument was also erected memorializing some of the other Saunders Family members, many of whom may be buried here but unmarked. Some of the gravestones mark the burial sites of the Saunders family members, plus there are four to six other unmarked graves that can be detected. There may be others. CRESCENT CITY QUAD.
