MT. ZION AFRICAN METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH CEMETERY Take HWY 100 northwest into Putnam Hall. Take Putnam Loop Road, opposite CR 26, to the right and follow it about a mile to where it intersects Bellamy Road. Turn right on Bellamy Road and follow it east for about a half mile or so. It is a clay/dirt road. This little cemetery lies on the north (left-hand) side of the road, which means it is just over the Clay-Putnam County line. It is located in Parcel # 36-08-23-005249-011-00 in the Clay County Property Appraiser’s database. The listed owner is Two Gators Inc., 4250 27th Ave NE, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064, and may not be aware of the cemetery’s existence. This is an old pioneer cemetery that has many interments—many now unmarked, which has suffered from vandalism in the past. There are many Putnam County residents buried here, and the church itself is in Putnam County on Putnam Loop Road. Evelyn Williams, Putnam Hall, FL 32185.
