MIDDLETON OAKS CEMETERY

 

Lies on Parcel #06-12-27-0000-0280-0000 under a grove of oak trees, approximately 125 feet south of Eva Middleton’s house.   There is a gate with “Middleton Oaks” over the gate.   This site is on a knoll that slopes off on three sides into what used to be a lake.   The only grave at the time of Task Force survey, 1999, was that of Mr.  E.  D.  (Easterlin) Middleton.  

 

Take US 17 south to Pomona Park.   Turn right on CR 308-B.   Go approximately ˝ mile to Keown Avenue.   Turn left on Keown and go to end.   Take Aunt Susie Street (paved) to right.   Follow the paved street to end.  The 911 address is 141 Aunt Susie Street.  This is the Middleton’s home.   CRESCENT CITY QUAD.   N 29o 29.2 75 W 81o 36.617.   (Maintained).

 

A search of the online version of Putnam County obituaries, as published by the Palatka Daily News revealed that there has been a new interment in this cemetery.  On October 18, 2006, Mrs. EVA NAOMI ALVERS MIDDLETON RAULERSON passed away and was interred there on October 22, 2006.
